- Q: AM I GUARANTEED TO SEE ALL OF THE MAJOR SETS? WILL I SEE ACTORS?
A: We cannot guarantee any stops or photo opportunities. The availability for these attractions is subject to change at any time for any reason without warning.
The tour will not take place during active filming, and you will not see any actors or filming taking place.
In the event that certain sets are closed, we will not issue refunds or process re-bookings. The only event that would result in refunds or re-bookings is a total cancellation of a tour or tours due to active filming. We appreciate your cooperation in advance.
- Q: WILL THE STUDIO TOUR RE-OPEN AT SOME POINT?
A: Hopefully! While we cannot confirm at this time, we are hoping to open in December after principal photography wraps for Season 10 of The Walking Dead!
- Q: DO YOU HAVE A PHONE NUMBER?
A: Unfortunately, no we do not have a phone number. We operate as a seasonal special event, and therefore do not have the support staff year-round to manage a phone-line. - Q: HOW LONG DOES THE TOUR LAST?
A: The total runtime of the tour is approximately 2 hours. Please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to your scheduled tour to ensure the best experience for all guests.
- Q: I DO NOT USE A WHEELCHAIR. MAY I STILL PURCHASE A WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE TICKET IF IT IS THE ONLY TICKET AVAILABLE?
A: No. Wheelchair accessible tickets can only be purchased by passengers who plan to sit in their wheelchairs for the duration of the tour. We have a special bus to accommodate guests who require wheelchairs. We cannot accommodate passengers without wheelchairs if they purchase a wheelchair accessible ticket.
- Q: ARE THE 9:20AM, 11:20AM, 1:20PM AND 3:20PM, 5:20PM TOURS ONLY FOR PASSENGERS WHO REQUIRE WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY?
A: No. Our buses accommodate up to 12 passengers without wheelchairs in addition to the 2 passengers in wheelchairs. Please note, tickets labeled as “Wheelchair Accessible” can only be purchased by passengers who plan to use their wheelchairs for the duration of the tour.
- Q: HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN EACH TOUR BUS ACCOMMODATE?
A: Each bus can accommodate 14 passengers, with the exception of our ADA bus, which has the capacity for 12 passengers and 2 passengers in wheelchairs.
- Q: MY FRIEND PURCHASED TICKETS FOR THE SAME TIME AS ME. ARE WE GUARANTEED TO BE ON THE SAME BUS?
A: No. If members of your party purchase tickets separately, we cannot guarantee that you will all be allowed to ride on the same bus. In order to guarantee that everyone in your party rides on the same bus, please purchase your tickets together and arrive 15-30 minutes early for your scheduled departure window.
- Q: CAN I UBER/LYFT TO MY STUDIO TOUR?
A: Yes! With that said, check-in happens 30 minutes before your scheduled departure. We are an outdoor facility, and as such, do not have a waiting room or place for you to sit while waiting on your tour’s departure.
- Q: DOES THE TOUR ACCOMMODATE PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES?
A: Yes, we do provide tours for persons with disabilities and other qualifying impairments. However, please note, the tour includes portions of walking that may be on rough or uneven terrain. Folding wheelchairs, walkers, or crutches can be safely stored on any of our buses. With that said, guests who are able to transfer can be accommodated during any of our scheduled tours.
For guests that require wheelchairs or ECVs and cannot transfer, we provide an accessible bus with a lift during the 9:20am, 11:20am, 1:20pm, 3:20pm, and 5:20pm departure windows. If you have questions or concerns, please email us at [email protected]. We will do our best ensure that each guest enjoys their visit in a safe and fun environment.
- Q: ARE SIGNERS AND LANGUAGE INTERPRETERS PROVIDED?
A: While signers and language interpreters are not provided, we have trained our staff to work with people who are hearing or language impaired. If you require an interpreter, we can assist with arrangements. Please email [email protected] for more information and costs.
- Q: CAN I TAKE PHOTOS?
A: Yes, however, you may only take photos in certain Designated Areas. Designated Areas are not guaranteed due to weather, routine maintenance and other year-round events that may interfere with our normal tour operations. Designated Areas will be clearly defined and indicated by your Tour Guide. The use of video and voice recording devices are not permitted during the tour. The Walking Dead Studio Tours reserves the right to disallow any photo, video or audio recording device for any reason at any time. Selfie sticks are not allowed on Studio property.
TAKING PHOTOS IN NON-DESIGNATED AREAS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED AND WILL RESULT IN YOUR IMMEDIATE EXPULSION FROM THE TOUR, AND POSSIBLE LEGAL ACTION. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT POSTING ANY PHOTOGRAPHS TAKEN IN NON-DESIGNATED AREAS TO SOCIAL MEDIA SITES IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED AND WILL RESULT IN POSSIBLE LEGAL ACTION.
- Q: DO WE STAY ON THE BUS FOR THE ENTIRE TOUR?
A: No, you will be allowed to get out and stretch your legs! We never guarantee where you’ll be able to get out because of weather, routine maintenance and other year-round events that may disrupt our normal tour operations.

- Q: CAN I TAKE STROLLERS, CAR SEATS, ETC, ON THE TOUR BUS?
A: Children under the age of 8 are not permitted, and as such strollers and car seats cannot be accommodated on our tours. With that said, guests with disabilities who require specialized car seats/booster seats can be accommodated.
- Q: CAN I PURCHASE TICKETS BY WALK-UP?
A: Yes, however, it is strongly encouraged that you purchase a ticket online through our trusted and secure website. All walk-ups are subject to availability, which is limited and can change for any reason without notice. If you arrive without a pre-purchased ticket, you are not guaranteed entry and may be turned away at the gate
- Q: ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS FOR THOSE WANTING TO TAKE A TOUR?
A: Yes, guests must be over the age of 8 in order to take the tour, and all guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Guests under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign and agree to their “Participant Release” form.
- Q: ARE THERE ANY CLOTHING REQUIREMENTS?
A: We ask that you dress appropriately for being outside at a working studio. Closed-toed shoes are required for entry.
- Q: CAN I TIP MY TOUR GUIDE?
A: Yes! Tips are greatly appreciated.
- Q: ARE TICKETS REFUNDABLE?
A: Tours can be canceled for a full refund up to 48 hours prior to the tour’s departure time. Requests for cancellation will only be accepted via email. Please send all cancelation requests to [email protected] the exception of a “No Show”, tours can be rescheduled any time at no additional cost by emailing [email protected].
If you arrive after your tour’s scheduled departure time, we will do our best to accommodate you but cannot guarantee same-day availability. There will be no refunds for late arrivals, but you can reschedule your tour in person at our ticketing kiosk.
A “No Show” occurs when a person does not show up for their scheduled tour and does not email or arrive in person to reschedule their tour before the end of the day (operating hours).
A 100% refund will be issued for any activity that was canceled due to weather by The Walking Dead Studio Tour. The Walking Dead Studio Tour reserves the right to determine cancellations due to inclement weather. Weather cancellations will be communicated by email. Please note, the tour will operate rain or shine, and as such rain will not constitute a weather cancellation.

- Q: I SENT AN EMAIL, BUT I HAVEN'T GOTTEN A RESPONSE. SHOULD I BE CONCERNED?
A: Our guest service team is only in the office Thursday through Sunday. We will attempt to respond to your email as quickly as possible, but we receive a large volume of emails each day. With that said, please allow at least 48 hours before sending in an additional request. We will backdate your request (cancellation/rebooking) based on the date you sent your original email. Also, please note, emails are prioritized, and as such, general inquiries may not be returned immediately. We appreciate your cooperation.
- Q: CAN I BRING MY OWN MY OWN REFRESHMENTS?
A: Non-alcoholic beverages are allowed on any of our tours, however, except in the case of a medical emergency, food is not permissible on any of our scheduled tours.
- Q: CAN I BRING MY DOG?
A: Trained service animals are welcome on any of our scheduled tours. Please note, emotional support animals and therapy animals are not considered trained service animals and will not be allowed on any of our scheduled tours.
- Q: ARE WEAPONS AND/OR PROP WEAPONS ALLOWED?
A: No. Weapons of any kind are not allowed.

A: No, we do not offer gift certificates at this time.
